Hey everyone,

My gorgeous puppy Yoda arrived on Friday - I adore him! I just have one question about his ears. The day he arrived, his ears were both sticking straight up and were firm, they didn't flop the whole evening even after running around etc. The following morning they were both down and have stayed down for the last 4 days. He has just gone 9 weeks old and updates from his breeder showed he had one ear up from about 6 weeks old and then the other came up a few days before he arrived home. I've read that puppy ears do go up and down, but it would be good to know what everyone else thinks? He is chewing everything in sight, could he be teething already or is it too early?

It's worth noting he's only 3/4 french bulldog. He's 1/4 pug so there is a chance that he got pug ears, but given they've already been standing - I doubt it.

Check out the pics below - pic 1 from the night he arrived, pic 2 is from yesterday.

P.s. I think he's lovely regardless but I'm just a little perplexed.

He is a cutie pie. Sometimes they will go down when they are teething, but he is still young yet, usually don't start loosing them until around 15 to 16 weeks of age.

Thanks guys - a quick update: one of Yoda's ears is back up the majority of the time and both are up if he gets excited. I'm pretty confident they'll both come up in the end. I'll post some pics of him soon so other people with this concern can see his progress :)
