Hi everyone! I joined a few weeks ago because my 11 month old frenchie, Theo, has been experiencing some weird issues. I wasn't sure anyone would reply but you guys did and I am so appreciative.
Theo started leaking urine 2 weeks ago. The vet ruled out a UTI, but we still treated him with Cefpodoxime for 10 days. Theo continued to drip urine. It is not everyday. He might drip every other day, but has even gone a few days without dripping urine. Sometimes the dripping stops after he pees, but sometimes it will continue even after I take him out to pee.
The vet thinks it may be ectopic ureters, but has noted that it's rare to find in a male frenchie. We are getting an abdominal ultrasound on Tuesday, but I wanted to see if anyone has experience with either urinary incontinence in young frenchies (unrelated to UTIs) or ectopic ureters.
