Hi I’m new here. I have a 4yr only vanilla Frenchie named Enzo who we love and adore. These past few days have been tough bc he’s been acting strange.

Vomiting can’t hold anything down
Now he’s Not eating or drinking
Diarrhea and blood in his soul
Very weak.
Now his vomit turned to white foam since he’s not eating.

Nothing has changed in his diet. He didn’t eat anything he wasn’t suppose to. We are extremely worried about it him. At 1st I thought It was a bug but now it’s been 3 days. His vet can’t see him until Monday and I’m freaking out!

I’m praying it will pass once doc gives him meds. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Could you give us an update on Enzo? Did the vet ER find the cause of his illness? How is he doing? ( I joined thread late, but would really like to know how he is doing ( and how you are as well!)

Sorry for the delay Enzo was very ill.
He had several test done and ended up with gastroparesis which elevated his kidneys . Doc came in and said he has kidney failure . He put him on several medications and pumped him with fluids to treat the infection. Also had to change his diet. Which he is a lot better no longer vomiting and he is eating .

It’s been a week and back at Dr office for a check up . ran another blood test switched his diet to KD so his kidneys don’t have to work as hard . He will have to continue his medication 2 types antibiotic & Pepcid.

With the diet changes he’s doing a lot better.

It’s been a crazy week.
I posted his blood results if anyone knows anything about this and can help please let me know. I always like a second opinion, even though my vet is amazing.
