Etta is a funny little 6-year-old girl who LOVES to play with other dogs and cuddle in a comfy bed.
Since she is a mill survivor, she is learning to be potty trained. She is reliably paper trained, but is still trying to get used to the idea of going outside on a leash. She also runs from people that she feels like are chasing her, which seems to be anytime she is on a leash.
Etta is also working on trusting people as she is very unsure. She is definitely more secure with dogs over people, but she is making progress daily. She will take treats, play bow, and likes to be petted by people. The more she warms up, the more she wants to be around people and the more she understands that not all of us are mean.
Etta also adores chew toys. She sometimes likes to get into small trash cans and is an efficient magazine shredder, but as long as paper and small trash cans are put away she can be confined in a gated room with some potty pads and she won't make a mess.
With patience and time, Etta will thrive in a home with a resident dog to continue to help teach her that being a part of a family is a great life!
