Could anyone pls advise me on where to buy an affordable puppy from as there are many scammers out there?

I would check with your local French Bulldog club or French Bulldog Club of America. Going to local dog shows is another way to meet breeders but due to COVID, they really aren’t happening right now.

I’m looking for a male . I did come across a cute black tri from a good Breeder . She started breeding French maybe a few years ago but English bulldogs she has been breeding for at least ten or more years. Now she is breeding colored French and English bulldogs . She tells me her dogs are healthy but I just don’t know . She isn’t a scammer. Her reviews on her Facebook page is good . But she can always delete any negative comments if any was made . I have two female English so I thought I get a male frenchie

A breeder that breeds non-standard colors is not a “good” breeder.

Hi there,
I think the term affordable is subjective. From what I know a good, reputable breeder breeds for show and the betterment of their particular breed. This includes only those that breed colors recognized in the breed standard. Checking The French Bulldog Club of America website will yield you a list of breeders in good standing, but because of this the prices of pet quality puppies could be anywhere from $3500-$6500 (my experience in searching three years ago). You can always let one of these breeders know if you are willing to take a retired show dog or perhaps one that was slated for show/breeding program, but didn't quite work out for one reason or another. It would most likely be an older puppy or young adult and the price would probably be less, which could be seen as more affordable, but again, just depends on your personal budget for adding another dog to your household.
