first season

Hi everyone i was just wondering how old everyones female frenchies were when they had their first season?

My girl was 9 1/2 months. But it can be anywhere between 6 mths and 18 mths depending on the dog/breed.

My Frenchie is a boy but my BT was 6 months old, a week before her vet app't to get spayed.

Q-Roux was 10 months old. I'm pretty sure she had trouble keeping food down and her lady bits were swollen, then we woke up to spotting on her puppy bed. As gross as it is, most of the time, I put up a baby gate up and let her roam in the living room, because it was tile and I would clean with disinfectant and warm water every evening, that way she was only confined to a onesie and panty liner at bedtime. She didn't go further than the mailbox for walks and bled for atleast 2 weeks.

As others have said, it can be from 6 months to a year, and last about 4 weeks.
