First shower!

Just gave Dave his first shower in the bath and ohh boy he wasn't impressed at all! I spent more time trying to keep him from trying to jump out! I even put Brendan the Border in to help him calm down... Im soaked!!

When Jax was smaller I gave him baths in the kitchen sink. Now when I give him a bath it's in the bathtub. While he doesn't love it, he doesn't try to jump out either. He usually just stands there like hurry up with this.

I give Batty a bath in my backyard sink. He hated it and slipped all over the place. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and got a rubber non-slip shower mat and put that in the bottom and both Ollie and Batty are much happier with their baths. They still don't like the water in thier faces but they sit better for me now. You might try this is they are slipping....

Bear makes me feel so guilty whenever I give him baths. He puts his ears down, mopes in the water and looks at me sadly. Which is so strange because he loves swimming! Lol

Pierce will run over and have me put water on him outside, especially if he has been for a walk and is hot. Inside, at bath time, he isn't as thrilled. I think it has to do with not being able to walk away when he wants to! He is about to outgrow the kitchen sink and we only have showers in our house. I think I am going to get a large tub to use in the shower with a handheld sprayer. Hopefully that will work. At least it is only occasionally that he has to get one!
