hello was wondering if anyone can help I have had my dog for 3 years he has allergies red runny eyes, and his bell is red with hives. what does every feed there french bulldog i can't figure it out.

Only my Boston has a food allergy to chicken, so I don't have a lot of experience with allergies. What do you feed him? A lot of people here feed raw to their dogs who have severe allergies. Have you had an allergy test done?

This is our first allergy season with Finely and he's a bit of a mess. Skin, eyes, and nose were a mess and he was chewing his paw so off to the vet he went! He's now on a medicated shampoo and we wipe him down with natural baby wipes after each outside time. He also needs frequent eat cleanings, which has been the worst part, but he is improving! He also got a bit of an eye fold infection even though we are super on top of fold care. We are hopping it's just the season and got medicated wipes for all his folds that we use once ever other day. Our vet also recommended we give him Benadryl up to 3 times a day but we have mostly only been giving it to him when we notice him itching a lot.
We also found out that chewing on his paws can be a sign of a food allergy so we have switched him to a limited ingredient kibble to see if that works before we switch him go raw to determine if it's a protein allergy.

What food are you feeding, as sometimes a food change will help. If it's seasonal allergies, then Benedryl will help. 1 mg per pound of body weight three times a day. If they have hives, you can double the dose. Temaril P also will help with the itching and chewing of the paws, but you will have to get that from your vet.

Yes--- what food? Also try benedryl 1mg per pound to help with the hives

I've tired everything under the sun with food brands, and none seem to be good I'm currently trying Wild buffalo the wilderness the lamb mixture, with this brand I've tired all of them. prior to that it was natural balance, science diet, royal canine, pretty much everything pet smart has to offer. would like to maybe start a raw diet just not sure how to get started.

Jax has bad environmental allergies and some food issues. I give him a weekly bath with a medicated shampoo, paw soaks as needed, daily Apoquel and he is fed raw. Once you figure out what is causing the problem, you will be able to manage the issues better.

I can't add anything really to all of the above. We've suffered too for the last year, and I'd highly recommend the allergy testing. As Cbrugs mentioned, it's helpful to know if it's environmental allergies. Dexter has a dust mite allergy and we'd never have known without the testing. This now involves vacuuming the areas he is in daily, changing his bed cover daily and washing his bed once a week on a high temperature. We haven't done the food one (yet), but know through elimination we have issues with peas/beans and chicken, so are on a limited ingredient fish food.
