Just curious whats the earliest you can take a Frenchie away from his mother? Ive been looking for another pup for my sister but i see majority letting them go at 12 weeks and some as early as 8 week. Is there a pro/con for 8 weeks versus 12 weeks?

8 weeks would be the absolute minimum.

My breeder lets them go at 10 weeks. Eight weeks would be the earliest they should be adopted. They will just have more socialization with the other pups the longer they stay with the breeder.

Anything =younger than 8 weeks would be an issue... all the pups I have gotten, we picked up after 9 weeks,

Oh ok i see i wasnt sure so i just wanted to check

Eight weeks is the absolute earliest they should go. We like to wait till 12 weeks. They get to socialize and learn more from mom when they are left longer.
