Hello from Florida!
Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself since I am a new member. I am not a heavy "poster" but I do read a great deal of the information contained within the site. I will try to be as active as possible by having a strenuous work and school schedule sometimes hinders time. Just a bit about me. I am 21+15 years old from Navarre Beach, FL (I will always be 21) and have a wonderful wife. We have been together for 20 years (not married but 8) and wouldn't change it for the world. On December 18, 2015 I lost my Pit Bull of 15 years. I always said that I would never own another dog because I get very attached. I don't have any children so my dog was my child. As the days, weeks and months lingered on there was a void in my household. There wasn't anyone laying next to me as I wrote papers and completed homework assignments. After much thought I decided to give "another dog" a shot. The area I live in does not readily accept Pit's due to their aggressive appearance. I knew that I didn't want a fragile or frail dog and the Frenchie pretty much met all of my wants. It took forever to find one because many of the websites are fraudulent. Everyone seemed to be in Baltimore whenever I wanted to look at a puppy but they were quick to ask for $2,000 and then they will ship the puppy and I could pay the rest when the pup arrived.FINALLY, after putting an ad in a pet column, I received an email from a girl. At first I was quite rude and explained to her that if I could not see and touch a living puppy she was wasting both of our time. Long story short, I went and picked up my puppy. Her name is Godzilla:happy2: and she is Miss Personality! She is now 4 months old and I have become very attached. I go to extreme measures to make sure that she is a Diva... It's not hard to catch!
