I’ve just joined, I’m Sophie. Nice to be here. This is getting so real as I’m meeting a breeder next Saturday ! Would you have any specific questions as an owner you would ask? I’ll be so excited to be there I’m going to forget half my questions ..

Congrats and welcome!

I would ask about health testing.

I would also ask to meet the mom and any of her other dogs. There’s a possibility she doesn’t have the dad but if she is does, meet him too.

I would also ask how often she breeds. If it’s a lot and there are always puppies being born, that’s a sign of a puppy mill/backyard breeder.

Does she require a deposit? If so, make sure you understand the terms as some are non-refundable.

Is there a health guarantee?
