Hi guys . So I introduced my Frenchie in the introduction section . But I have join because I have a question about switching foods.

So long story short is the food my Frenchie was on can only be bought in Russia & other countries besides the USA . I did manage to purchase the food however the shipper said they couldn't ship so now I'm getting my refund back. So I'm not getting her food anymore. I'm getting her in next week.

I want to know how I can transition her to another type of kibble now without killing her diet. Does anyone have any tips ?

Thanks,

Shua .

I would research the ingredients in the food she is currently eating and try to find something that is similar and then do the transition to the food you eventually want her on.

@chunkyballs As I stated in the other thread.... use the bland diet as a transition to the new food, it will help keep her belly settled. In the meantime, you have a week to do some research.

Look into some of these brands as many have had great results, no particulare order but all have a grain free line:
Orejin
Acana
Fromm
Taste of the Wild
The Honest Kitchen
Nature's Variety Instinct
Earthboarn
and you can never go wrong with raw

Good advice above. Find a food that is close to yours, and do a slow transition, and a blade diet will do wonders also, especially since she will be stressed enough from the flight over.I hope all goes well with the flight too.

Thank you guys so much .

So I ended up getting Taste of the Wild Puppy formula because it's ingredients were most close to what my French bulldog puppy was eating .

Do I just mix the kibble in with the bland diet?

Yes.... Slowly- the switch should take at least 5 days

Okay so feed her bland diet first & then over the 5 days integrate taste of the wild with the bland diet correct ?

Correct
