My name is Kevin(Spanky's Dad) and we live in Southern, NH. Earlier last year a friend of mine, started posting pics of her black Frenchie Coco,and I started watching videos on FB and Youtube of the "Frenchie Culture". Being the owner of a 10 yr.old Boxer mix, Penny, and being in my 70's. I was determined not to get another dog, Penny was to be the last dog. Well my son (who lives at home) started sending me more vids and we'd send them back and forth and before you know it, we answered an ad from Maryland and my son drove us forth and back, to pickup Spanky whose owner a nice lady with two young daughters, a grandmother and two Persian cats, were exasperated by this cute little devil. He had good bloodlines, AKC registered, shots done, chipped, and a family who could not control him. He would get hold of one of his Persian friends and carry them around the house in his mouth! Well long story short, we bought him, he hopped right in backseat, and six hours later we were back in good old,NH, the state we LOVE! I could barely walk after that ride but, that was just the beginning, off to our vets, he and our penny got along great(that would have been the dealbreaker) and then I contacted Miss Paula who came out to the house 5 Saturdays in a row for training. He started off a very stubborn little guy but we outlasted him, just barely, and now he's like, my second son! Absolutely love this, both dogs! I think what made me persist was, Miss Paula telling us "There's no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad owner"and I've owned probably 12 dogs in my life. Glad to meet everyone! Here's a pic of my wife and 2 of the kids, I call " A Three Dog Night"! Spanky absolutely adores her, and Penny!
