So Flint is now 14 weeks old and Until a couple of weeks ago his housetraining was going great. He wasn't using his pads ALL the time, but he would let us know that he needed out in the garden and he wasn't having as many accidents as I thought he would be.
Recently though he's started shredding his puppy pads so we can't leave them out when we're not supervising in case he chokes, and even when there is one out he ignores it and goes on the carpet. It's like his housetraining has gone backwards
Did anyone else's pup do this?

Has anything changed around the house recently? I find they revert back when there has been a noticeable shift. For example my Nellie was doing great fro Months and then i had to leave her with a sitter for three days to go on vacation and when i returned and brought her home, she stopped waking me up early in the morning to go pee/poo and will potty in her xpen on the pads instead. That surprised me. She eventually went back to waking me up after a few days, but this past long weekend, i went away to the cottage without her as she wasn't feeling well. My mom is at my house and was looking after her. After a few hrs of being home, she went around the corner and peed and pooped on the hardwood floors! I don't know where that came from. i guess the fact that i was gone for 4 days again.

So maybe its the same for flint. if something has changed around the house, it is probably impacting her routine.

Thanks, nothing has really changed though? I'm really confused about what's causing it when he was doing so well :/

He is still a baby....14 weeks is still so so so young. He will have ups and downs. Just gotta be patient and keep doing what your doing and eventually he will be more consistent
