Hi Guys

How much does your frenchie sleep? Our Hattie is 4 months old now but she's not sleeping as much as she used to and we were told she should be getting plenty of sleep because they're growing etc. We took her for walks today and yesterday and she's been playing loads but she just can't seem to settle. She has been snoring more and we're worried it's the snoring that is unsettling her as if it hurts or something? She ends up sitting up and we think it's to help her breathe as it's most comfortable

Cheli probably sleeps about 12 - 14 hours a day, but he will have days that he is up all day and just takes little cat naps here and there

Hudson went through stages as a puppy. He slept a lot when he was really little, then was SUPER active around that age. That's about when he started snoring too. He's a year old now and sleeps a lot. He requires several naps a day and falls asleep around 8 or 9 every night.

My dog Louie went through the same thing when he was a bit younger. I always felt like he couldn't breathe through his nose well and he would literally sit up and gasp for breath through his mouth. I felt like he wasn't able to get comfortable enough to sleep. We finally brought him to a vet that specializes in bulldogs and Louie was diagnosed with stenotic nares And had the surgery when he was neutered to widen his nares. He is breathing much better and can sleep well.

When they are younger as you know they sleep a lot, and as they get in the older puppy stage they want to play more. Usually they will sleep anywhere from12 to 18 hours a day, depending on what is going on around them. If she is having a hard time staying a sleep from the snoring, I would have a good bully vet check her for an elongated palate.
