Hi all,

I have been feeding raw for a couple of years now and I usually deworm (Drontal plus tablets) my dogs once every 3 to 4 months. I am not sure if this is enough, as I came across some articles stating that too often is not good. My dogs are doing fine as at now but I am just concern of any hidden problems and if that time frame is good to protect them from the worms.

I am also looking for any alternative way to deworm like herbal wormer I have posted a while back. Would anyone has experience on a more natural approach to worming your dogs?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. :)

I wouldn't deworm that much. Too often and I have isn't that good. We do a fecal exam once a year to check for worms. If you are giving Sentinel for heart worms, it works for most worms anyway.

Thank you. I will get them checked before feeding any wormer.

Jax is fed raw but he gets Sentinel Spectrum once a month for fleas and heartwom and it also protects against other worms.
