Great article ! I just adopted my frenchie at age 5 with little information as to her vaccination history, and gave her the minimum- 3 yr rabies vaccine and the core vaccine. I'm planning in future just to repeat the rabies vaccine at 3 year intervals for legal reasons, and check the dog for antibodies at 3-5 year intervals before I give any other vaccines. I don't imagine my dog will ever require any other vaccines besides the rabies if what I've been reading is true.
