Hey, so I woke up this morning and my dog was very lethargic. Usually when I get up in the morning he gets up with me but he slept in for an extra hour today, not normal at all, then we went out because it's Thanksgiving to my grandmothers house and he seemed to do alright with the other dogs but halfway through the day when I walked out to my car he ran up and jumped in got in his bed and passed out which she never does because he's only 1 years old since and is super playful and active. Since we've been home tonight he went straight to bed didn't drink or eat, hasn't eaten or drank anything all day really, would not touch his
breakfast. Earlier I tried to give him a treat and he left it sitting on the couch next to him which is completely not normal because it's his favorite treat. He usually is following me around the house unless he's super worn out but as of now he's crawled under the blankets and when I call his name he barely lift his head. I'm just not sure if I should take him to the vet or wait it out I guess I wanted to see what you guys think.

Here's a pic of my lil Noble

yes, take him to the vet. Whenever a dog is lethargic and not drinking there could be a number of things going on, it is always best to have a quick check done to make sure it does not get too serious.

hope he feels better quick and is back to himself

Oh no, poor baby! I agree with 2bullymama, with his behavior I would get him to the vet. Have you taken his temp? It is done rectally and should be between 99-101 F.

I agree with the others, a vet trip is in order. I hope your baby gets better soon.

I took him to the vet yesterday and all his blood work came back normal but when I was there his gums started bleeding a little bit so they wanted to give him IV fluids and keep him overnight so they could keep an eye on him and run some more tests. Today he is a lot better and I brought him home with antibiotics. They still do not know the cause of the issue. I have to go back Monday to have another red blood cell count to make sure it is staying stable. It stumped two vets... scary. They said since he is on the mend, but they didn't want to run a lot of expensive tests if it was unnecessary. We will see how he is doing on Monday and see if we need to run any more tests. As of now he is home resting and feeling much better.

I hope you can find out whats causing the problem. Good luck!
I am glad he is feeling better & hopefully it stays like it.

apologize if you already stated this, but have they done any x-rays or ultrasounds to see if anything is going on that the blood test would not show?

Glad to hear he's feeling better, is he eating again now? Hopefully he continues to improve today!

Noble doing great! Completely back to normal! He's on antibiotics and is doing fantastic!
