Hey all - so Ripley had a booster check up today and the vet was doing some hip rotations as part of the checkup. She mentioned she felt light clicking in both hips (didn't feel it previous visits). She didn't seem super concerned but did ask if she seemed uncomfortable or if she could jump up on the low couch in the office we were in. I told her we didn't know about the jumping because we don't really encourage it. She mentioned bunny hopping which she does upstairs but I haven't noticed one way or another if she did it while playing. She said she would just follow up on it at the next visit and that it could just be that she doesn't yet have a lot of muscle tone yet. I know they can develop hip issues but I guess I just hoped I wouldn't already be thinking about it. Anyone have any words of advice or encouragement? After finding out she was deaf I was hoping for a stress free period with her.
