DView attachment 14084 does anybody have any idea what this is?

If under a year old, it is most likely mange, but it could also be a staph infection.

Your need a vet to scrape skin and test to confirm which.

If staph, you’ll need a strong antibiotic for at least 14 days. Also, be sure to give a probiotic to help boost immune system as both manage and staph damages the IS and you need to ensure it is strengthened

Ok.. staph... start a probiotic to help immune system. It is not life threatening, just loss of fur is the only thing you notice, but it is caused by a weaken immune system.

How do probiotics work? Is it like a tablet to give the dog daily?

I’ve been to the vet since, I told him about staph infection and asked his thoughts but he told me this is an allergic reaction, because he has epilepsy and has medication for it he can’t have steroids so he’s been prescribed Apoquel

Ask about cytopoint shots instead of Apoquel
