Molting

Hi everyone, it's has been a long time since i last posted here. How's everyone doing?

I would like to ask if French Bulldogs molt? Lulu has been dropping quite a bit of fur for the last couple of months. No bald patches but can see some dents of thinning fur on the coat. I could even get a bunch of fur off by lightly pinching on the coat. Initially I thought it was ring worm, so I used some anti fungal shampoo, it usually works. But it has been around 2 months and I am getting worried. Although the condition of coat looks really healthy.

She just turned 2 in May and has been on Acana Pacifica for more than a year. 2/3 cup a day, 1/3 cup per serving twice a day. With half a scoop of Show Stopper for dinner. I bring her for walks twice a day for 15mins each time.

I have brought her to the vet several times, the vet kept insisting it was a molt. Anyone has encountered similar situation would like to share your experience with me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Twice a year all shedding dogs do 'blow their coat' which is excessive shedding, but I never heard of it cause bald patches. has you very tested her skin ?

Jax usually will shed excessively twice a year with right now being one of them but he never has had any bald patches. Can she possibly have some sort of food or environmental allergy?

She always has the best skin condition amongst my frenchies. [MENTION=2]2bullymama[/MENTION] I am not sure if they have such test in my area.
