My 1yr old Frenchie losing hair

Hello everyone I’m curious to know have anyone else gone through there fur babies losing hair on there belly area and arm pits. My baby has been on pet fresh vital turkey doing amazing he loves it then I added salmon from open farm on top of the turkey and now he is losing his hair. The vet told me to monitor him and leave him on the turkey only and see. Do you all think it’s the salmon kibble ?

Did the vet do a skin scrape to test for mites? If under a year old I would want that ruled out

No they didn’t yet… we are still at the early stages of narrowing things down and monitoring. He’s actually 1yr/4 mos. I believe it’s the allergies we did have the fires and the air quality isn’t the best in LA. Maybe food allergies as well.
