Hi everybody. My baby Molly will be 6 months old in a few days. We are from Illinois. I haven't had a dog since I was a kid. So happy to have Molly in my life. I am happy to have found this site. I have already found valuable info and enjoy hearing about everyone's experiences with their French Bulldogs. So I thought I'd join in. Greg

Hi there. It was actually one of your posts that brought me here. At 6 months old, Molly weighs almost 24 pounds. I was looking up what other frenchies weigh at different ages. You wrote that Jax weighed 27 pounds when he was just under 8 months old. I see that Jax ended up weighing in at about 31 pounds. After weighing Molly at the vet office, I was a little concerned that she would end up being a huge monster. I read that French Bulldogs can reach over 80% of their full grown weight in the first 6 months. The puppy - adult estimator calculates that she will end up weighing 28.5 pounds. I am guessing more like 30 pounds. She doesn't look 24 pounds when next to my girlfriend's little 7 pound dog. She is a litttle tank! Thanks for welcoming us.

Jax is 4 now and was just weighed on Saturday and weighed in at 29.6 pounds. While Jax is probably on the bigger side, like Molly, he is well -proportioned and carries it well. He is not overweight at all. It's funny because I always thought he looked so big but now we have an English Bulldog who is 8 months old and already bigger than Jax and he makes Jax look small.

Yes it is comforting to know that she is not growing at an abnormal rate. I will be sure to follow along with your posts to see how Otto is developing.
