So my boy is 3 months old and has to stay in a crate 3 hours a day while I'm working. He is doing really good with going outside and needing to take care of business. The problem I'm having is every time I come home he has peed I'm his crate. Any suggestions? My calculations say he should be able to hold it for 3 hours. His crate isn't large, it's 23x17.

I would use the crate divider to make it a little smaller until he quits. That is the size of crate I use for our 6 month 15.5 pound puppy. Not sure if frenchies start this early but he could be marking his territory. Do you put water and food in his crate...if so I would not since you are only gone 3 hrs he should be ok until you get home.

No divider but will definitely try this. We bought it from a family member and didn't have a divider. We don't leave good and water so I'll keep that the way it is.

He will grow out of this in time, just be patient.

I don't crate train Lou, it's not something we do in Europe. However, Lou used to pee alot in his bed, almost daily :). Fortunately he got over it at around 4 months of age. So be patient, he will eventually realize by himself that peeing where he sleeps is a no no. Of course you can also help him understand by gently showing him where he can pee and where he can not.
