Hi everyone! I have been feeding raw chicken, beef and duck to my dogs. I haven't tried raw pork or wild boar as I have heard lots of crazy stuff about these meat taken raw. I get my pork from the traditional wet market where the pork hangs in the air and I am in a tropical country. I would like to ask given such conditions, would it be safe to feed my dogs these meat?

Another question is on deworming, how often do we do it for dogs on raw? I have read about negative effects on deworming too often but I am also concern on not doing it on time. I am doing it once every 3 months.

I have recently came across with a herbal wormer and would like to ask if any has used it? What's your take on this? I have attached some pictures.

I would be interested also as i am in Greece and it get's pretty hot here as well. Hanging meat is what the older style butcher's do and it worries me.

If you freeze your meat for 2 weeks before feeding it will kill any worms ( but not harmful bacteria ) . I give my dogs Interceptor Plus every 6-8 weeks which will take care of heartworm and ALL parasites, plus I give a flea and tick med ( topical K9 Advantix II ) monthly.
