Rectal prolapse of 6 year old Frenchie. Looking for suggestion. Appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I have a 6 year old frenchie named Prince who about 3 months ago had a rectal prolapse. We ran all the tests and everything came back fine. We did a surgery to have a suture placed for a few weeks then got it removed. Prince has been good until today. The rectal prolapse came back.
Not sure where to go from here. Has anyone else had to go through this?
Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Welcome to FBN! Our Chelios had this as a puppy, his owner surrendered him to our vet because she wanted to euthanize. Cheli spent four months in hospital recovering from the surgery and waiting for a new home. That is where we came in… your vet will have to retack the rectum and ensure you keep him calm for many weeks after. From what I remember, I could be wrong, these are usually due to stress or anxiety.
