So i'm looking into purchasing a puppy from a local breeder. Just not sure how accurate the info is. Can anyone help me out?

Attached are the pedigrees they provided me for the parents.

Thank you Julie! Should I be concerned at all with the mom being an import? (event though she has her papers?) Also here is a pic of the puppy. Is it natural for their eyes to look like that at 3 weeks?

Actually I prefer imports. Ollie's parents and grand parents are from Hungary. He's a BEAUTY too!600_381186912.jpgOllie Parents.jpg

Ollie's parents are pictured here...

Her eyes do look really odd. David H should be able to tell us if that's normal. He breeds these guys.

Maples dad is from Hungary as well and her mom from the states (we are in Canada so thats an import as well :p).

The eyes do look a little odd. Sometimes young puppies are a little walleyed which however goes away after a few weeks. With this puppy though it looks like maybe a little to much.

The pup is wall eyed. The sire doesn't have many champions in the linage. From what I could get out of the dams pedigree it looks like some champions but I'm not familiar with the language on the pedigree. I myself would be very leery of the pup, but that's just my honest opinion, because I try to breed only show quality Frenchies. He is a cute little bugger thou, but is wall eyed. Tomorrow when I get on my computer, I'm on my tablet now, I will post a pic of several 3 week old pups and you can see the difference in the eyes.

Yeah - I think the pup probably is not very well bred I'm afraid....I knew David H would be able to help. :)

Well, I am not breeding or showing, so pedigree was not my first priority. I would give it a few more weeks and see how they develop. You never know, they may pull in.

It is very cute, regardless!!!

I'm not planning on breeding or showing with the dog. It's just going to be a family pet. My main concern is health. From what I can tell from many different resources there is still a chance, as winginit66 stated, it may still grow into them / pull in. But that may take a few months.

With that being said in a worst case scenario, lets say they don't pull in. How detrimental to the health of the dog are walled eyes?
