Lola. Who is now 1 recently started having some episodes of reverse sneezing over the past 3 days. It happens like once a night and 2-3 times a day. It goes on for a long time until I realized if I cover her nostrils and she opens her mouth. It seems to be coming from congestion. Her nose seems to be dripping a lot of clear liquid and when breathing hard, some shoots out. I believe one time I saw some yellow/green but I’m sure since she licked it up quick.
She’s now sleeping but it sounds like she’s not breathing as easily as usual. Normally she snores but this is just louder breathing. When she wakes up with the reverse sneezing, it freaks us out.
We live in south Florida so I’m not sure if allergies still. I plan on putting her in the bathroom tomorrow when I shower to get some steam because with the AC on, humidity is like 35-40 in the house.
Again this has been going on for 3 days, 4 days tomorrow. At what point do we need to take her in? Other than the congestion and reverse sneezing, she seems normal.
