Hi guys how is everyone doing?
I'm concerned with Bruno, he can't sleep without me being there, he follows me everywhere, cries when I leave him, I don't know what to do? Will he ever grow out of this phase?

Hang in there! hes in a new enviroment and with his new pack. Make sure you give him lots of love and comfort him, but at the same time when he whines and cries turn your back to him, and ignore him.

for chowder he was the same way when he first came home, but we just took a week to really make sure that he knew crying isnt going to get him anything he wanted. It takes patience but it works!

Treat him like a dog, not a baby, and he'll mature quickly.

But always reward with affection and love :)

I agree with ignoring the behavior you don't want/like and praising with love and affection the behaviors you do want. When Stella would be in her ex pen in the kitchen she would jump, whine and cry. We would never take her out when she was that excited, only when she was calm. She learned very quickly that certain behaviors do not get our attention.

Frenchies do love to be with their humans, but as others have said, don't show attention for bad behavior, he will learn, Henri used to do the same thing and cried every time we put him in his crate. now he goes in without a fuss and knows he will get a treat for going in.

Thank you guys! I thought I was going mad, but I have done exactly what everyone says, but I guess it's patience and consistence feeling more relieved now 😁

Took Bear about 1.5 weeks to stop crying at night...and about 3 weeks for him to sleep through the night without crying to go pee. You'll get there!
