Switched from Merrick Grain Free Puppy to Instinct Raw Boost Grain Free Puppy

I decided after reading more reviews and such that I would switch Titan to this food as he's already so messed up from so many rounds of meds and such that at this point he definitely needs any "boost" he can get.

He is maintaining his weight, but not gaining from his last 2 vet appts, and it concerns the vet.

He also has not wanted to eat the Merrick lately.

just nibbles and walks away and that is not good.

Hudson did the same thing with kibble as a puppy. Fingers crossed that this works!! Good luck!!

Thank you! And I feel good about adding the freeze dried raw into his diet as well!

He loved it! Didn't even have to add water! I was nervous he would eat a freeze dried bit and be iffy about it but he chowed down!

I think I made the right choice!

We just switched Louise off of Merrick too. Hope the transition goes well!

I had high hopes when i switched Isabelle from Merricks to Natures Variety grain free kibble. It was not a good fit for her. She was shedding like crazy and scratching her ears . Her breath was bad too. I read on Amazon reviews that they were bought out and that the formula had been changed. I think the tapioca might have been the culprit in it for her. I hope this won't be the case for you. We are now back on wellness core and no more crazy shedding or bad breath. She has the loudest toots on it . So loud she's like were did that come from ! We can live with that for now. Good luck!

We switched Titan ... over some time now, he's on the grain free chicken puppy. He does well! He sheds a lot but so does our Isabelle & she was on Fromm. Decided to switch her to Rawboost Duck & Turkey Grain Free as well, and she's done great on that too. I do have to watch with her though because when I tried a beef she got itchy ears. So I think she's sensitive to that protein! Because it's been about a week on the new food and there has been no signs of sensitivity or allergy, and within 2 days of the beef fromm she was itchy and red ears
