I started Milo on Orijen the day I adopted him. After 2 months, I was unable to obtain solid stools. I tried to feed much less, deworm, etc...

I decided to try Fromm on Friday and stools are much better now.

Please tell me which flavor.... I want the Fromm to work so bad but he just doesn't love it. So far I've had the best luck with Duck & Sweet Potato. The only one I haven't tried so far is beef frittata, which I refuse to buy and the retailer keeps promising me samples but they haven't kept up their offer and Fromm doesn't send samples.

I started my Milo on grain free Fromm and he's done excellent. My other dogs have eaten Taste of the Wild for years and love it. Good Luck I hope the Fromm continues to help your little Milo[emoji847]

I feed him Fromm Gold for puppy. It's a pink bag.

I've tried that LOL that was the first one I tried... he ate it very very very apprehensively!

He is just so picky.... he will tolerate a food for about 2-3 meals and then refuse it!

What I like about Fromm food is that you can switch all of the four star lineup without worrying about stomach sensitivity. This has somewhat helped with my picky eater.

I've tested other brands for his liking and it's always accompanied by slight stomach upset.

Fromm has been the only "dry kibble" that he will even tolerate when I mix it with something... so for that reason I stick with it.

So far the Duck & Sweet Potato is the one that I can get away with the least amount of "mix ins".

I've literally tried EVERY Fromm Four Star flavor with the exception of the Beef Frittata. I always buy the smallest bag for freshness but also because I just assume he won't like it anymore and I'm usually right lol.

I actually spoke to Fromm on Friday and I didn't know this but they offer a 100% money back satisfaction guarantee, so I will now just order the beef to try!

Have you tried Game Bird, if he likes the duck/sweet potato?

I have. Lol no good that, the duckenpeppheer (wow I butchered that word lol), pork and surf and turf are probably his least favorite 4.

This is how it usually plays out:

I'll prepare his food...I'll make him sit and make eye contact with me....I'll put it down, and he will ignore the bowl until I pretend to look away ....he will mosey on over to it, sniff it and walk away, or he will intermittently eat about 5-25% of it over the next 15 minutes....he will walk away and stare at the bowl.

Then I take it away. He has it for anywhere between 15/30 minutes, I'll leave it for 30 minutes if he actually ate some... if he doesn't eat any, I take it away after 15 minutes, and will put it back down about 20/30 minutes later (often he won't eat it still).

I'm really at a loss with him and food!

He only eats kibble if I add something to it, even then he's not enthusiastic about it.

I've added everything from:

•homemade bone broth

•cheese (I've tried many types)

•sweet potato purée with and without chicken

•homemade oatmeal banana peanut butter treats crumbles up.

•Stella and Chewys toppers

And the list goes on and on!

The crazy thing is, I know he will eat kibble, my best friends dog eats some cheap brand, benifull I think?.... every time he's at their house, he goes wild with that dogs bowl... I just want him eating a quality kibble!

He's such a little diva. I can't with him... lol

Try just putting the kibble on the floor... some times Cheli will not eat out of bowls

My dog was a great eater, and then I starting put some sardines on top of her food, and then she stopped eating unless she had the sardines. I stopped giving her sardines, and after 2 days she was back to normal with eating.I no longer give her any sardines, but other snacks like Greek yoghurt are given. I'm using Acana dried dog food ( made by same company that makes Orijen ) . Maybe your dog will be less picky if you completely stop putting special treats on top of her food, although that will take a few days.

Stool degraded over a week. All the way to bloody colitis :/ Since the boy was dewormed to death less than a month ago, I decided to switch him to raw. Almost a week in now and stools are solid, much less volume, darker, bloody colitis is gone.

Let's see how that goes...
