Hi,

I have narrowed the options I can get out here in China, to these two decent looking dry kibbles from TOTW.

Anyone had much experience? and can recommend one over the other?

Cheers

I use the salmon and sweet potato. The breeder I got Twiggy from feeds TOTW and loves it. I haven't had any issues with it at all. The Vet Techs I work with feed it also with all good luck.

TOTW is made by Diamond pet foods, who have had a lot of recalls, so you are taking a bit of a risk. Kibble food is inferior to raw, are there no dehydrated raw or frozen raw dog foods you can get in China?

Hello,
We've had our little guys on TOTW for years. It gets a high rating on Dogfoodadvisor.com, (4.5) and for us it is readily available here.
I add hot water to the kibble to make a gravy. I also add cut green beans and Freshpet (tube). We've given it to our puppies and adults.
They do get supplemented with treats during the day and ice cream at night!! :)
They've all thrived on it. There are many good foods available out there and many knowledgeable folks here. Do some reading and decide.
Enjoy your frenchie!!

Thanks for your experiences and advice. As for raw, I feel like it is a little bit expensive to get high quality meat for people to eat, so I think dog-worthy raw ingredients might be a tad tricky....sadly haha As a teacher though, we have a choice of 4 food stations at my school, kinda like in a food court. I figured, I might also sneakily fill a tupperware with fruit & cooked chicken/duck breast to bring home to him everyday to go alongside his kibble haha

Another brand I have seen recommended through researching blog type websites is Canidae. This brand is available here in these varieties: LifeStages & Grain Free Pure.

30lb of the TOTW is looking like approx $118...guess that's what happens when stuff gets imported right!

If this is best you can get for the money... try the salmon first.

Good luck
