Those big ears we all love!!!

Hey guys!

12 days until I pick up my lovely little puppy! excited doesn't even explain how i feel.. Pestering the breeder to send me pictures daily as i just cannot wait to get her!

Anyway.. Just a quick question, can you remember at how many weeks/months your puppies ears started to point up??

She's now just over 6 weeks and they're getting bigger but still floppy (i know i'm being impatient) just super excited for them to start pointing upwards!!

People say it varies for each puppy but just wanted to know roughly when they do??

When I picked up Wally at 8 weeks old his ears were already up. Some pups take longer than others, and when they are teething sometimes an ear or both will flop down for a bit. Waiting is the worst!

The first picture I saw of Jax at about 7 weeks he had one ear up and one down. By the time I got him at about 11 weeks, both ears were up.

Some pups take a little longer than others, and it depends on their pedigree and genetics. All of my pups so far have always had their ears up by week 5. I have seen others take longer. Some up to 12 weeks or longer.

Nellie already had her ears up when we picked her up at 8weeks. At 5 weeks hers were still down though

Thanks for your replies, got some new vids & pics of her yesterday and her ears are starting to go up, ahhhhhhh!! 8 days to go till i collect her xx

Those photos start at exactly 9 weeks and go to 9 1/2 weeks and 10 weeks. Once they start to stand it happens fast and my dog has huge ears. The dates range from 12/17-12/27/2012. I forgot the fist photo, he was 3 weeks old and the breeder sent me that one :-D
