Hi all! Sorry we haven’t posted much. Since getting Yoda we brought home another little frenchie baby. Who knew being frenchie parents could be so much work?! :D
We recently had Yoda tested for allergies due to the occasional hive breakout and just feeling like he gets an upset tummy/diarrhea semi frequently. Great news is we now have a list of allergies and a nice pamphlet of food option to switch him too.
My question is that this packet didn’t contain any treat information. Our babies are very food motivated but only use small training treats so that we can control their calories. I searched the threads and couldn’ t find anything in regards to treats. So if I missed it please feel free to tag me in it! My question is to anyone that has treat suggestions. Preferably small training treats but I appreciate any and all recommendations..
His biggest allergy concerns are wheat, corn, yeast, and carrots. So if anyone is catering to similar allergies I would love to hear some treat recommendations! Thank you in advance for any insight!

These are two treats that I use for mine. She gets the smaller bits (green and white bag) on walks when she goes potty outside. I give her 4-5 of the nuggets in the red bag when she must go in her crate. I throw them inside and she races in to eat them, then lays down. None of the ingredients you listed are in either treat bag. Just meat. Best of luck!

Love the idea of frozen green beans! We have lots of those on hand.

Thank you! I was actually reading about these last night and was very intrigued. Treats like this seem to have great reviews from other consumers as well.

We use freeze dried treats. They are tiny, so great for training and don't have all those extra ingredients that I try to avoid because of allergies. I typically buy Vital Essentials brand - they have several different choices of protein.

Thank you! This is definitely what we’re leaning towards. I will check these out.

Yes, freeze dried treats...single ingredient. Vital Essentials has small size perfect for training.

I use 96% fat free ground beef for treats. I brown it so it breaks down into small morsels. You can pretty much make the treat as big or as small as you want. Not good for travel but great around the house, either indoors or out. Needless to say, she loves it.

Great idea! I’ve been looking into roasting chickpeas with a little honey as well.

I was really intrigued by the minnows, I will definitely let the pups give them a try!

Both of my dogs like them, but they creep out my daughters and they said not to buy them anymore. Lol
