Hi every one we are new here have a 6 1/2 month old puppy named Tomás.
Him and our senior Boston terrier are the happiness of our home.

I’ve been feeding him Orijen puppy food for a while now and he really likes it after switching him from royal canin which he was on when we got him but it’s a bit hard to find in my area so we constantly have to order it online instead of walking in the store and grabbing it in person. I recently learned that Acana is made by the same company and at a bit lower price and has very similar ingredients, does any one have experience with both of these foods? is Orijen worth the trouble of looking for it and it’s price or will it be ok switching to Acana?

This is him at 8, 10 weeks and now at 6 months.

What a cutie you have! Welcome to the site!

Yes, ACANA and Orijen are very similar. Acana has a few limited ingredient formulas in case you need to experiment with that down the line. I've used both the Pear and Duck and Beef and Pumpkin formulations. Their freeze dried treats are excellent - my dog loves them. I feed my cats Acana and Orijen formulas and have for years. If you can find Zignature in your area, you may want to try that too. I've used it with success for my French Bulldog.
