Hi all been a good while since I posted. But today I noticed these bumps next to Bo’s nose almost in one of his folds. He hasn’t been scratching at it or anything BUT sometimes when I give him his bully sticks he will try to hide them in the house and he will push his nose like his pushing dirt over it but there’s no dirt just a blanket but mainly uses the front of his nose. But here are some pictures of it.

I used an antiseptic wipe on it today when I just noticed it. I usually use those to wipe his folds.

How old is Bo? Are the bumps anywhere else on his face?

He’s now a year and a half and nope just there on his face.

It might be a skin infection.. I’d have a vet check it to rule it out

Hi,
Whenever I gave Yuki something like a bully stick or anything that resembled a bone he would do the same thing. He would try to "bury it" under a blanket or an area rug anything that he thought would cover it up. If he did it long enough, he would get rug burns around his face or the area would start to bleed. I don't give him anything like that anymore and his face is fine.
It could be rug burns from his "burying". I would just wipe Yuki's face for a couple of days or so and keep an eye on it to make sure he didn't get yeast or an infection.

Mine has one of these. Maybe not quite this pronounced and red and Gypsy's is a little scaley. Luckily my vet is a good friend of mine so I sent her a quick pic and asked if she wanted me to bring her to the office. She (vet) suggested chlorhexidine, which is something I keep around the house anyway because of my greyhound. So, I wipe it down once a day with a chlorhexidine wipe and then give her something to occupy her mouth for a few to let it soak in good and dry and it seems to be helping. I've also been putting a tiny bit of vaseline to deal with the scaly part. Seems to be much better, but that's my experience with a nose bump.
