This is captain Ahab. We had to put him down two days ago because he was vomiting blood and lost two cups of blood and five pounds in one day. What did we do wrong? He was fine the first day, eating and pooping, next day he was dead. He was four years old and ate only a wheat free food and turducken

I'm so very sorry for the loss of you sweet boy.... Rest in peace Ahab.

You may have done nothing wrong.... Did you have a necropsy done to see if they could tell what happen?

We had a similar issue with one of our Bulldogs... No signs of any issues at all; she began vomiting and died a few hours later... We did the necropsy and found she was bleeding internally which our vet could not find any reason for it happening. [emoji20][emoji29]

Sorry for your loss. No poisons that he could have gotten into? Household chemical?

So sorry for your loss. He could have ingested something, got an obstruction, or someone threw some poison over your fence, if you have on. Rat poison can do that. Rest in peace baby

Poor sweet boy, Ahab. Rest in peace...

That's so heart wrenching, I am so sorry for your loss... Sometimes things like this happen to animals, and even humans, they are just unexplainable.

Oh my, I'm so sorry for your loss! That's horrible. You most likely did nothing wrong. It could have been the result of many things.

Oh my gosh, this is horrible. I am sure it was nothing you did. I am so, so sorry to hear this.
