I am sure you guys have heard that Louisiana has just experienced epic flooding...Now come the mosquitoes😬 What is the safest repellent to use?

I find the best for a natural repellent is Diatomaceous Earth. I use it as well, but make sure it's the food grade stuff so it's safe for you and your dogs.

Diatomaceous earth

Agree -- DE, if you do not want to use the chemical topicals

Do you use the DE in that link?

Dogs got fleas and it's bad flea season right now (seasons changing) so we ended up using topical. We didn't want to but husband is extremely allergic to flea bites... We haven't used it in a year, and I don't want to use it again next month.

Do you just feed this to them? I'm always so afraid to try things like this!

I rub it in their coats for flea protection and mosquitoes. I have also fed it to them and they haven't had any issues. Just remember to get the Food Grade DE.
