Breathing issues

Hello i have a 6 month old frenchie that i love with all my heart but im so scared that he wont wake up in tbe morning.His breathing is so bad that i dont get much sleep because he stops breathing for a little bit and he struggles to find a position to sleep so that he can breath. Scares me to death!

Have you had his nares checked?
Yes he is going to need a surgery to open up his airways .it sounds kind of scarey.i herd that its not good to put frenchies out for surgerys becayse of their breathing issues

You need a vet that is experienced with the brachy breeds as they can only have certain types of anesthesia and get put under a certain type of way.

We were very worried about that with our frenchie he needed the operation to open up his nose holes. i was so scared of sedation because he is a heavy snorer and has problems breathing while sleeping even more than a regular frenchie but he had the surgery and did fine thru it. Do it for him. Be warned, he may still snore loud and have problems breathing because of the way frenchies throats are, but, it will help him out very much so do it for him!

Happy to hear your frenchi is doing well after having the surgery .my poor little guy doesnt even have a hole in one side of his nostrils. So yes it looks like we have a lot of trips to the vet. I love all the little sounds they make my merf sounds just like a little piggy.
