I can only see your avatar pic, but she's a cutie! I really want a little fawn with a mask, if we get Gus a little brother or sister.

We've been so busy these last few months, I haven't had a chance to get on here at all, but I figured it was time for an update on Penny!
She is now just over 9 months old, and weighing in right at 19.2 pounds. We had been dealing with some severe scratching and itching on her face, but thanks to our vet prescribing prednisone it's all healed up! We're also struggling with her becoming a little aggressive and very timid when we try to clip her claws, so we will keep trying.
With the updating out of the way, here are some pics from the last few months:

Penny recently discovered her love for Lake Michigan and the beach:

It's time for a new Penny update!
Penny is currently 1 week into her first heat, and it is a new experience for my fiancé and I as we have never experienced a female dog's heat. So far Penny is doing very well with everything, however she is acting a little on edge.
We are going to now start transitioning her from puppy food onto adult food, and decided to go with Fromm's 4 star grain free based on some positive reviews on here. We plan on doing it very slowly over the course of about a month. She's had some dry skin lately, and seems to be a bit more itchy than normal, so we're hoping a food change might help with that.

Penny underwent her spay surgery last month, and has recovered like a little champ! She's enjoyed a summer full of naps, walks, and playtime in the baby pool!
