Hi all!

My nights with Ivy in her crate have improved to 100%!

I'm finally getting sleep. We take her out to our yard to relieve herself before bedtime. It's been 9 days since we had her and she was crying in crate almost 2-3 times a night to go potty. Now, this is the 2nd night where she hasn't cried at all. It's all great news but since we are sleeping around 8-9 hours a night, I was wondering if it's even possible and healthy for a 10 week old to hold her bladder that long.

Thanks!

We have a 12 week old frenchie and are experiencing the same thing. At first, it was rough. Our vet told us to try to limit her water intake after about 8:00pm. After that, she is taken out late at night, around 11:00pm to relieve herself one last time and then she sleeps through the night with no accidents. Usually :) We get up at around 6:00am and take her out again. It has worked great so far. We do still have to take her out every 2 hours during the day but as long as I get some sleep at night, I am one happy Mama! Good luck and congratulations!

Good girl Ivy! I'm sure she would go in her crate if she was totally uncomfortable or would whine. I would just take her out straight away in the am when you get up. Glad she is progressing and you're getting a good night's rest!

We got Jax when he was about 10 1/2 weeks and he used to sleep in the kitchen with a pee pad. He used the pee pad for 2 or 3 nights and then it was always dry. He would wake up around 5:45 am to go to the bathroom. He is almost 2 now and is asleep for the night around 6:30 pm and will sleep for 12 hours or more without needing to go out. Every now and then he will get up in the middle of the night and need to go but it is not very often.
