Anal Gland issues

My dog scoots along the floor often. I had his anal gland released just 3 weeks ago and it seems as though he needs is again. I feed him the best food " Nutro Ultra" for puppies with some Sweet Potatoe mixed in on occasion. Is there a special diet or what else should I be doing. Thanks.

Some pups just need them expressed more than others.

A natural way of helping would be to feed a high fibre diet.
I recommend feeding two tablespoons of Chia Seeds daily. Let the Chia Seeds soak in water over night and let them expand to absorb all the nutrients!
Just give it a try Make sure they are organic Chia Seeds though

A high diber diet does help some with this problem.

Your vet can show you how to express them yourself if you have the stomach for it.

You may also want to change his food, it may not be agreeing with him. His stools should be firm enough to press against the glands and release it while going poo. Over feeding can also cause looser stools as well.
