I came across this when googling about frenchies and found it interesting. If Bambi ever requires anything, I will definitely ask about this. We had a German Shepard mix who passed away the day after a teeth cleaning. I should have insisted that they keep her overnight because I knew she was off when I picked her up that afternoon.

"Make sure your vet uses only the most modern anesthetics (such as isoflurane) and insist on a heart and blood pressure monitor. Many vets are NOT careful enough when anesthetizing short-faced breeds."

So true about using isoflurane, and make sure you have a vet who is familiar with Frenchies, if not find a good Frenchie vet.
