Hello I have a question! I recently bought what I had thought was a frenchie, right Now I'm unsure, love my little Opie anyway of course! But I was taken back because I took him to the vet and when I had asked the assistant if he was frenchie she said she wasn't sure because he had Boston terrier colors. Also he's going to be 8 weeks and his ears aren't sticking up so any insight on what you might thing please let me know! Thank you I'm not sure how to post a pic but he's my profile pic

He is a cute little bugger for sure, but a little nosy, meaning his nose is a little long, plus it is hard to tell from the pics, but he looks a little leggy too. Some times it takes some Frenchies a little longer for their ears to come up. It's mostly genetics for the ears to come up quickly. All of our pups have always had their ears up by the 5th week of age, but I have seen others take a few months to come up, so don't get discouraged yet. Either way, he is a precious pup.

Ok ya I noticed that to about the nose but I also feel he's so small like skinny. Idk how they took care of him from who I got him from. Does leggy mean tall? Lol here are so photos if the soposid father and mother. The father is in a photo with previous puppy he had I believe. And thank u he's very precious❤Screenshot_2016-03-16-22-51-13.webpScreenshot_2016-03-16-22-50-52.webpScreenshot_2016-03-16-22-48-51.webp

Which country are you from?
Where did you find the seller?
Do you still have contact info for the seller?
Was the price of opie too good to be true or a little bit on the bargain side?
What does the tail look like?

he is too damn cute.... he does seem to have longer legs as David mentioned

Welcome!! I would say his legs are bit long for a Frenchie. The parent in the first pic also seems to have longer legs as well. My guess is that he might have some Boston Terrier in him. Regardless, he sure is a cutie!!!

My girl had smaller legs as a puppy and she got more leggy as she grew up. She's also tall and lean, and all muscle.

The ears are strange... It seems like there is a possibility of a Boston being in there somewhere!

I live in San Diego and I found the seller in chula vista through Facebook. But I'm sure if u contact her she will block me. He was priced at 1,400 but she sold him to me for $800. He has a short tail!

!

So I found out the seller lied about the dad! But he does look like his mom and they both seemed mixed

If the seller lied about the dad, what makes you think he didnt lie about everything else?

he could have just rescued him and sold him to you the same day..

I would sue his *** so he doesnt go around ripping people off the same way.

The dog is cute and who cares if he is a frenchie or a frenchton etc. Keep him either way.

The point is that you were lied to and scammed. I guarantee none of those pictures you see are real anyways.

I hate people like this. I'm sorry you were lied to and got scammed. Your puppy is damn adorable regardless of it being a frenchton.

Sorry to hear that you were lied to and scammed.

I know the feeling, but as mentioned above, suing them may just burn a hole through your pocket with no payout. These people have ways to elude ever paying you back.

Just love your puppy and take it as a learning experience to research research research before hand!

Opey is a precious little floppy eared boy! As long as he's healthy and you love him it doesn't matter if he's mixed!

Sounds like a puppy mill or broker selling for puppy mills. Either way he is a cutie pie, and now he has a loving home, so that's all that matters.
