Ok at my new vets pre surgical appointment for safaris neutering I brought up the fact that his breath is really bad. The vet said its just because he's teething and never looked in his mouth. I figured that made sense and left it alone. He has adult teeth coming in but they are still tiny. I'm thinking its because he is a Slow grower and is tiny- 7 months, 13.6 lbs. anyway. When I dropped him off for neutering they asked me if I wanted him to get a fluoride treatment for his teeth. I said sure because I was thinking that if something was going wrong, they would see it then. I picked him up yesterday evening and noticed his breath was a lot better! When I got home, he was tired and tolerant of me really having a good look in his mouth. It looks like he has double rows of his teeth front and molars. His top 2 front teeth are doubles and his adults are now way back because of the baby teeth. I tried to take some
Pictures today but I can't seem to attach them. Anyway I'm highly irritated if He needs to have these pulled. I would have hoped she would have done it while he was under. What do you think? Will they fall out eventually??

Sorry, no experience with that. I remember when Jax was teething and losing teeth and his breath was HORRIBLE. I can't remember how old he was though. Have you called the vet and told them about the double rows of teeth?

I can't remember if it was Jake or Stella, but when they were fixed the vet did pull a tooth while they were under. Seems strange that they would not have done this.

Your vet should have taken care of that when he was under.

agreed, the vet should have checked and removed them. I remember when Cheli went under for his neuter, out vet said he would check for any baby teetth and remove them, he was 9 months old at the time

Get back in touch with your vet and see what they have to say. They must have a reason for not pulling them when he was being neutered.

I agree with Alice Kable. There may have been a reason.

The teeth extraction should have been an option in your pre-neuter paper work. At my vet it is an added cost, so I'd have to consent to it first.

Yes Zeta's adult teeth came in beside her adult teeth and the vet quoted me nearly $2000 to have the baby teeth pulled.... I've worked in vet offices and watched them do the procedure so I purchased teeth pliers and laid her in my lap and extremely gently and very slowly wiggled each tooth until it fell out and this was done so gently that she let me play with each baby tooth. I do not recommend this as you can potentially break off a tooth and end up in the ER. But if you want to use your hand and gently wiggle loose teeth then this is safer as you can't yank
