Bad Breath

Frozen raw marrow bones!! The chewing on bones is supposed to be good for their teeth and dealing with plaque. Of course, only give while supervised.

I'm sure Carrot would love raw marrow bones!

I brush her teeth at least every other day and I already feed her dehydrated raw. I'm hoping this isn't a plaque issue

Try looking in her mouth to see if you see any obvious decay. She might need some dental work.

Any tips on curing bad breath? Not a fan of greenies. Would love something more natural

So, I ordered the seaweed stuff and I've been adding it to her food the last few days. We'll see what happens. But, randomly, Carrot was at the office with me and went on a "walk about" When she came back I noticed she had foamy stuff on her mouth, which happens when she chews on something like an antler. So, I knew she had eaten something she shouldn't have on her "travels" I pry open her mouth, looking for the foreign object or food and I'm met with a cloud of minty fresh breath. Apparently, she's found a mint and eaten it. Freshest breath I've ever smelled. It was almost as if Carrot knew she had an issue and went out to try and fix the problem herself!!! ;)

I saw frozen marrow bones at the pet store a couple weeks ago and bought a package for Bambi and Ginger. They are like a doggie pacifier on steroids - both of them were occupied for hours and I could hear their teeth scraping on the bone, so I'm sure it is good for removing tarter.

Good luck.

My boys go crazy for them and it is excellent for teeth!

P.S. I just love your avatar...I just want to grab Bambi and squeeze her!
