So many people have been telling me how they had to re-home their frenchies because they had a baby or they have kids... I think Brody is the Frenchie-whisperer... Isabelle and Titan alike cling to him. Isabelle even clearly "goes easy" on him when she's playing with him compared to adults. Maybe they sense Hes been hurt by a dog before? Maybe it's just luck! But I'm so glad to give Brody such happiness after his tragedy! And I'm glad I get to share all of the cuteness and happiness with this forum! You are all such great people and I'm sure I would've had a much different experience with this bully breed without you all. So thank you [emoji173]️

He is a cute little fellow! You can tell that he loves the dogs. He is trusting and brave to have went through what he did and still love dogs. *big hug* for him!

We went this past weekend to visit the dog we are getting later in the year and my 7 year old was in heaven. She was in the floor with snorting, kissing, rowdy Frenchies all over her and she was so excited she could hardly contain herself. She is usually so calm and always well behaved but I kept having to "rein her in" when we were there because she was just over the moon. She was hugging and kissing them and talking non stop. She was noticeably super excited and getting a little crazy.

I thought Frenchies were great with kids, but since I don't have any I really have no idea. It looks like all your 'kids' get along just great!! Love the one of Brody and Titan looking at the camera.

Adorable pictures! Titan is so tiny and cute. It looks like Brody loves them and they love him.

Aw that is so great! Brody absolutely LOVES Frenchies! If he sees a picture of one, or one is on a commercial? "LOOK MOMMY DID YOU SEE THAT FRENCHIE?!" He even said he wanted a French Bulldog birthday party. (Well we already have the frenchies so why not?)

That's all I've ever heard and so far it's held true with any I've ever met but my hubby's sgt had 4 and rehomed all of them when they had their kids claiming they weren't kid friendly dogs? I was like "sounds like a bunch of Bologna but to each their own."

Adorable pictures! Titan is so tiny and cute. It looks like Brody loves them and they love him.

Thank you! I can't believe how small Titan is... It's really almost a shock every time I see him! He's smaller than my SIL's chihuahua puppy!

Those are adorable pictures! I am so glad everything is working out so well with your skin and fur kids!

That is so great to see! Bisou absolutely loves kids so I present them to any who are interested. It's so important to me to see people helping kids build a love for dogs so they learn to respect them - and hopefully grow older to adopt lots of them! It warms my heart to know he's been attacked before and can still enjoy dogs. I was obsessed with each and every dog as a kid, and it makes me so happy to see a child's face lit up when they're around dogs. :drawheart:

I feel the same. I also think some people could be a bit more careful with their kids around dogs. There definitely needs to be a healthy medium.

I was the same way as a kid. I always wondered how people were even happy at home without a dog (or cat, since we had one of each).

what a beautiful family you have.... so happy they are all doing so well together

There's some serious bonding going on there!!! Love the 1st and 3rd pics!!!

Olivia and Wilson are great with kids. Gidget is fine with my niece and nephew who are 10 and 12, but around little kids she is a little weird. Not aggressive, just barking in this really high-pitched (and very annoying) bark. I made a special effort to take Olivia and Wilson on walks and ask people that I met who had little kids if they would do me a favor and let their kids pet our dogs. I think it really helped.

We have a big extended family, my nephews are 17, 13, and 4. Brody is 3. Plus all of the adults. And even my 83 year old grandma! (isabelle is her favorite ever)

So I try to have isabelle around them all as much as possible. She has the crazy hyper active ERMAGOSH PEOPLE thing going on right now though since she's still so young haha. No matter what we do or say she always gets over excited and zooms around and is a total nutjob. (Probably why everyone doesn't understand why we would want a 2nd frenchie!)

Isabelle loves the park. And since I know she's been exposed to toddlers and people alike, in the spring when I start walking her (and Titan now) I think I'll have more people pet them!

I don't have a lot of kids in my life. Most of my friends are kid-less like me and I don't hang out where there's a bunch of children around. However, despite that Wally is great with kids. I have to watch him with wee kids as he's too rough but other than that he just wants attention and doesn't care where he gets it from. He's a ham.

Seems like most frenchies are great with kids! I think the food/toy/treat aggression that some develop are a cause for alarm with tiny tots... But if you never expose your dog to that, or your child who learns? Nobody. So it's a toss up on this debate haha. Wally is so adorable. Who wouldn't love to give him attention?!

Agreed. Both the dog and child needs to learn to play nice. Aw, Wally says thanks! :)

Great pics of your babies, and your new little pup is a cutie pie.

Thank you. He's a pain in the behind!

His pooping schedule is basically poop at any given time or hold it in and then poop as soon as we put him in his tote and step in it. It's a vicious cycle... So I'm going bananas over here! He's only in a tote for goodness sakes because we don't want to risk him getting his arm stuck in the crate door & getting hurt.

He should be fine in a wire crate, we raise all our pups after they are weened in wire crates and they do fine.

We have a crate for him, it's a solid plastic crate the door is small squares.

He wasn't ever in a crate with the breeder (annoying inconvenience) and he "charges" the gate. His arm was stuck once. We need to get him the same crate as Isabelle, bigger slats he can't get stuck in.

That's too bad the breeder didn't crate train them. We only use the wire crates.
