aloof chubb.jpg Chubb is 14 weeks and a little over 13 pounds... He is putting on weight quickly and is full of personality. Everywhere he goes its like he is a little celebrity( he knows it too) Health wise he has been good except that he is being treated for a uti right now. He is getting along with his boxer brother and seems to like other dogs that he has met. This is our first frenchie and so far so good. Anyone have a guess as to what he may weigh as an adult? He has averaged a pound a week since we got him, so I hope he is going to be a little chunk :)

Welcome! Chubb is quite the looker! Frenchies seem to be celebrities wherever they go, Jax is the same way. Like people each Frenchie will be different, some are heavier and some are thinner. Jax will be 2 in April and weighs 30 pounds.

30 pounds... that's a stocky guy! Do you remember his size at about chubbs age?

Welcome!! My frenchie Wally is 30 lbs. Chubb looks like he's going to be a big boy as well, look at those paws. He's adorable!

I don't but can look it up when I get home. If I remember correctly, he was probably 9 or 10 pounds at 11 weeks when we got him. It seemed like he was gaining weight every week but eventually slowed down.

he does have big paws they are almost as big as his 78 pound boxer brotherlounge buddies.jpg

He is indeed adorable! My dog's neurologist once told me to double the pup's weight at 4 months old, and that should give you a ballpark for adult weight.

check out my post "MY DOG IS HUGE!!!!" Popeye is a little porker! and there are a few comments from others talking about there dogs and size.

He is adorable! It's hard to say how big he will be because they all grow at different rates. I would say he would be on the larger side though.

WHAT a cutie-pie!!! I can see where he would be the rock star wherever he goes!!!

Wilson is a solid 27lbs. Gidget is smallest at about 23lbs and we think Olivia is somewhere in between. I may have to stop by the vet and throw her on the scale... Gidget is 2, Olivia and Wilson just over 1.

Oh he is so cute! Jake was 13 pounds at 14 weeks too. Was just going thru some old vet receipts so I looked it up. He is 2 now and weighs 29 lbs.

Welcome!! He is so cute! They all definitely grow at different rates. Hudson (my Frenchie) was very deceiving -- he was not quite 3 pounds at 12 weeks, and 10 pounds at 6 months. We thought he'd be tiny (so did his breeder and my vet). He turned 1 in November and is now 28 pounds, and he doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body -- he's very slim.

Thanks everyone... he really has won me over... and everyone else the family except Gracie the cat. I had him to obedience class last night and he spent time horsing around with a 4 year old great dane.. he took a big whiff of a big butt to start things off of course :)

seastrike Clancy is 16 weeks old and now weighs 12 lbs. I too wonder what his final weight will be. Our 3 year old Frenchie is 32 lbs. I guess it depends on the parents and the breed line mostly.
