I have not used it, but I know the Fromm puppy food has some good oils in it and my dog's coat is pretty shiny!
Yes, found some at food city and just started using it. I'm doing 1/2tspn once a week to start. Don't want him to get a case of thunder butt!Dad turbodave - did you find some coconut oil yet and if so, have you started using it?

Yup, kpromero. That'll be perfect. I swear, after a few days on it, Bisou's fur felt like bunny fur.
We're now up to doing it every day. Not sure if it's overkill or not, but we do salmon oil in the morning, along with spirulina mixed in with kefir, and then coconut oil and a little bit of raw honey in the evening with dinner. No itching, no scratching, lovely breath, soft fur, and no Frito feet.

I'm going to start adding it to my pups' food. They already get almost a 1/2 tsp of fish oil at dinner, but after the fish oil runs out I'll start on the coconut.
My pet sitter just came over for a visit (she used to work in a vet hospital as an assistant), and she said for Penelope's paws I could rub some coconut oil on them too to ease the redness, as it has antibiotic properties. (I've already switched her food over to a different protein/grain free type...have to wait a couple of weeks to see if it makes a difference or not)
I'll start with the 1/4 tsp also, then work up to a 1/2.
