Lola is now about 6 1/2 months now and has been very healthy. Other than some itchy ears which have gone away, she has been great.
Friday night she started waking us up 4-5 times a night to go to the bathroom. She would pee very little and then pace around before letting a little bit of runny stool. She would then walk around a bit more and then let out a lot. It was soft serve consistency, a bit of variation in color but no blood. I did find some seeds the resembled that of an apple or maybe a lemon.
We tried feeding her sweet potato mixed with her food for 3 days, while it did help her have solid stools during the day, she still had issues at night. We are now going on 5 days with no sleep so we need to get to the bottom of this.
Other than the night time constipation, she is her normal self. Tons of energy and eats normal.
Should we try to fast her for 24 hours? Stick to pumpkin, sweet potato, rice and no hard food? At this point do we need to take a stool sample to the vet?
